no it revs to 6k. thermostat is just before halfway. its already better after i removed the spark plugs and cleaned the shafts. i now gonna do new plugs soon and ask someone to clean my injectors. but thank you for the replies
ok its funny you now say misfire . but like you said its hard to diagnose especially on the otherside off the water ( i am in the netherlands)
i have removed the plugs and they look decent i cleaned the coil shafts ( twingo 2 had problems with misfire on shafts if they where dirty etc) and...

yeah but bad injector can to have a strange spray pattern wich on high revs can be 2 slow to fully function and mix with air. and so engine starts knocking slowly
but a bearing issue to can vibrate but like you said with a loud noise.
the engine does rev ok...

i know its not a clio but still a renault sport.( have 2 clio 172 aswell lol)
i own a megane 225 trophy and by my known it never had this issue .
its been a long time a went for a spirited drive (due to weather) but if i rev to 5K rpm and over...
normally they only snap if you ( the person) accindently breaks by trying to lose it up. if had them even when the motor stops working (eventually burn out) but not break.. so first for me hearing that (y) . if the mechanism break you can throw it away, but if mechanism is still one piece it...
good thing you guys clean it under there (y) . the wiper mechanism sometimes gets stuck due to rust and moisture , then its almost solid and cant move . doesnt happen many times but can happen on clio 4 (and is fixable with some time invisted). atleast it hasnt got the clio 3 problem getting...
maybe they changed the UV protection over the years cause renault still uses this colour to this day since 2013 (clio 4 introduction)
RS came later than stock clio 4 , maybe Adey's is a late model year..
IF there is a problem in the wire loom !! IF !!. then you can just pull new wires to a bit where its not under tension. jerkiness , the ecu cant think weird due a driveshaft in my opinion. if jerkiness is when you go on and off accelerator then its an engine mount/gearbox mount . if under load...

edit: it will not turn pink ,but red with orange. the renault touch-up make it pink / turns pink ( for stone chips etc)
