Is the light flashing or staying solid?

Mine does the same, seems to be the pulley on the aux belt. Any idea what i can do with it?

The problem seems to have been fixed! I ended up taking it to Renault, it turns out they were cheaper than calling out an auto locksmith from round here. People were quoting me £160... it was £150 from Renault with a genuine fob. Cheers for the help guys!

Gave it a clean today. Its All pretty standard really, only had it about a month. So far ive put some aerotwins on, painted the badges, fitted a sports grille and popped some sports mats in. Next im thinking clear side repeaters, skoda spitter and silvervisions Long term...colour code the...

So a new key sorted out the issue all together? no solid or flashing lights now? Does your new key have the button to unlock the car or is it just the blade with the transponder in it? Cheers for your help.
