Warning light and fault code were two seperate faults, just appeared at the same time. Replacing injectors fixed the flashing warning light, new thermostat fixed the fan fault.

Yeah mate I replaced all the injectors and never had a problem since.

You any good with a soldering iron? Most probably a issue with bad capacitors, can be a cheap fix if your willing to have a go.
