Changed the battery on my wifes Audi A4 and now the CD played is dead. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine. I also pulled the unit out and replace the fuse in the back which was dead but still no joy. Have I missed anything or is it F**cked. Help would be musch...

Your looking at around the £600 mark from a stealer seeing as the aux & c/belt will need replacing.

How did you get to the cable seeing as its the other side of the servo and there no room to put your hand in and get to the cable.:S

I would be interested to know if there is an easier way. Wonder if the guy who wrote the guide has actually ever changed one??

Unclipping it from the clutch arm was easy to do (battery end). It was getting to and removing the cable for the bulk head that was the problem. There is no way you can replace it using this guild so anyone who reads this do do not waste your time trying.

Tried using this guide to replace the cable on my CUP. How the F**CK are you surpose to get to the cable by taking the wheel lining out. Took wheel off and removed liner as stated but the cable is the other side of the servo and you would need hands the size of a small child to get behind it...
