Thanks, definitely lucky (although it's not cheap - entry fee works out to be $40 (GBP25) a lap!). I don't have to have the windows downs but I usually do to keep the temps down.

Very true about the character mate. The walls are pretty close - it's certainly a track where I don't drive at 10/10ths and leave a bit in reserve!

Thanks. Well, it's the closest we have to the Ring but it's only about 6 km long! It's pretty legendary down this way anyway (there's an annual race over 1,000km's). Button in his F1 car did a lap for a promo last year I think which you should be able to find footage of.

Have them and no longer notice the vibration due to a) settling in a bit and b) installing RSTuner which raises the idle slightly. They cured the knocking I had when taking left hand corners hard and also make for a much more direct feel. My 172 is now a dedicated track car though.
