But you did everything possible to stop the rattles except filling it with lead right? Can you explain in more detail "adding an oring under the sleeve and applying a silicone layer between the shell and the shifter is the best" You need to dumb this down please :)
Mine is carbon, I dont think it could get any worse and I have the PMS dampener weight on the linkage, I do have semi solid engine and gear box mounts maybe thats why some people experience less vibrations?
If its a daily totally agree, but I rarely drive the clio and I cant be assed taking it off!

Is the bearing change actual worth doing, as I read somewhere it makes no difference, has any one just changed the bearing and found it dramatically quieted down the rattle?

Bumping for more feedback, as I am also in the same position, did less then 200kms last year! really dont feel like changing these just for the lols! I was told the plastic pulleys are what fails on the timing side, is this true? Any one seen this?
Bump I have the same issue since fitting the PMS shifter, Any help guys? Mine jumps out of 2nd but only on the most lethal late braking / weight transfer around one corner at my local track, impossible to replicate on the street!
