Gus … not so much using the changer. More that I don’t want the little noise that will ultimately drain my nice new battery…. It continues when everything is switched off and key removed.
That’s on top of the other parasitic drain issue I’ve never managed to resolve.
Using the CD changer would...
Good evening gents,
I replaced the battery today and now have a strange CD multiplayer issue.
on turning the car off I’ve noticed an unusual noise from beneath the passenger seat. A quiet “whirr” every 15 secs or so. Sounds as though the changer is trying to load a disc and the display shows...
The main connection to the alternator was so tight and corroded despite lots of Freeway I was convinced I would rip the internals our before the nut came loose. Now I can’t figure how to remove the small connector. It seems every connector on the car operates in a different manor. Can somebody...

Pre MOT inspection showed one strut leaking. On removal both top mount locations were found worn (pic attached).
The car has been owned since 4 months old. I had issues with occasional clonking from right side front which Renault never got to the bottom of . . . And it got better with time. I...
Lambda sensors are original. TDC sensor was replaced at about seven years due to an intermittent starting issue (would occasionally not fire on first attempt but fine on second)
Both hard fault starting issues have evetually resolved themselves without any positive fix by me .... Eventually...
As an old guy who learned his stuff on pre electronic ignition and pre injection cars, modern engine bay baffle me, so your help is requested.
Clio 172 phase2. I've owned the car since it had 470 miles on the clock. Happy to say there have been no major issues. In recent years two injector...
