Guys, I'm in the middle of changing my OS drive shaft on my 1.2 16v. I spent a while looking for the correct new one and the one I have bought does not have the middle bush (marked out in red in the picture), does this matter? I have been assured this is the correct one and the others I have...

Ok cheers, So to change to lower ball joint, do I just undo that bolt and it pops off, or do I need an extractor tool? Also what is ARB and is that easy to change?

Ok thanks. Any idea about the roll - pin, does it need one? Can't see it needing one as there's no hole on the drive shaft splines

Need to replace O/S drive shaft so took it out: Does it matter that there was no roll-pin fitted in the splines on the gearbox side? (see pic below) You can just about see the roll - pin hole in the splines. Once I had undone everything on the outer end, the thing just slid out of the G/box...

Btw, I did fire wd40 into the split gator (only a small split) and all around the other bushes on drive shaft and the squeak is still there
