    Monaco 172 Track Car

That’s impressive! My Alpina: Tried to do some other cars and it kept the same alpina on screen and on the box, despite prompting 3 times to change them. That’s the brilliance and limitations of AI right now!

    Monaco 172 Track Car

Can you generate one of those images for my car? Mondial blue and inferno orange around the edges! Also, a pleasure to make your acquaintance, you fat wanker. NB: I’m a gradually expanding wanker myself.

    Monaco 172 Track Car

I was going to start with some abuse and offensive chatter, but you don’t even know me online, so thought that might not go down very well. (Very happy to be offensive if you like though). Please say more about that model Clio situation. Thank you please.

Where to find bolts for engine mount

I do have an ultrasonic cleaner but I’ve ordered some zinc plated bolts which I’ll use so long as they fit correctly. The cleaner is great but I quite fancy some newness in there!

Where to find bolts for engine mount

I bought an upgraded engine mount- the one that’s very obvious at the driver’s side of the engine. But my current manky one has horrible bolts- does anyone know the spec of them so I can order some sparkly new ones? The four in this picture:

172 C.U.P. (Complete and Utter Poo)

Like everything I do with cars, this mini job hasn’t gone 100% to plan… I fitted the Sabelt steering wheel and QR, pretty straightforward, disconnect the battery, wait a bit, unclip the airbag etc. my large torx bolt on the steering rack wasn’t a T40, but a T45, other than that ok. But when I...

    Clio Williams Project

Thanks for that clarification- The trouble now is I’ll have to look out my ancient car mags to see what the hell I did read! Like you say, great seats though.

    Clio Williams Project

Love it! Will be following your progress. One random thing I remember about the williams from back in the 90’s was that the development team reckoned the seats were worth time over a particular road, because of how much better they held you in place than the Clio 16v seats. You probably all...

172 C.U.P. (Complete and Utter Poo)

Major progress on the little Cup. With every kind of job to do I prioritised to the most critical stuff by fitting an Alpine head unit. It’s a Bluetooth CarPlay thing, have set the display and keys to Amber and switched off the annoying beeps. Next, an actual priority, I set off a can of...

Glad you solved the dephaser issue, s**t when it’s a new part! Hope you don’t get slowed down too much with the cracked bracket.
