I sprayed mine 1st with heat resistant paint then wrapped it, the spray kinda makes the wrapping a little easier as when its shiney the wrap i found kept slipping round when i was pulling it tight, looking into the cpe front panel soon too to help feed some cool air over it

It can be very fiddly, i suppose you're way would work too just alot of weight to move into place, just some ppl try and bolt it up under stress say if they remove the manifold and refit without loosening the support bracket

Its been perfect believe it or not, its been on now for 2yrs, been driven hard with plenty boost through it and its not cracked yet touch wood! I won mine for about £150 ....... i think i know it was pretty cheap, i think as long as the manifold is bolted to the head 1st, then turbo to manifold...

Check the EGR pipe at the back of the engine they was very common for crackin and causing sh!tty blow, ive changed a few of these when i use to work at lexus few years back
