Nothing too exciting : just need to get the suspension freshened up, and get a cage fitted : its had everything else done that's necessary (all new brakes / belts / injectors / o2 sensors / wheels refurb + tyres) I've got buckets already (and the jon fox mounts too hat i really need to fit at...
If you're local to brands, do not, whatever you do go to Sevens and Classics round the back of paddock on scratchers lane for a quick look round....
(I've got a RB 182 too that's not been used for the best part of a year and essentially want to do the whole Caterham thing... and I live about 5...
What subframe set up gave you used for your drivers seat that still allows the use of the seatbelt pre-tensions matey? That's the exact set- up I'm after, both cage wise and seat wise!
Agree : when I was looking for mine, I originally wanted imperial : pleased I went to look at a pacifica one first!
In certain lights you'd actually be hard pressed to tell the difference : in bright sunshine pacifica looks very bright.. at sunset it goes to a deep blue/purple kind of hue.. I...

I guess that's the point I was making though : because these are now cheap cars, a lot of them will have been run on a shoestring budget : to my mind replacing all of the above is common sense, and will be needed after a set amount of time.. Most of what I want to do are essentially service...
For those that said do nothing, I think you're slightly missing the point - the newest of these are what.. 10 years old now.. If they have been used at all properly through their lives then renewing aspects (in particular the brakes and suspension) should be top of the list to ensure they remain...
So.. Bit of a general question for all of you guys..
I've recently bought a 182 - essentially a blank canvas if you will.. Belts will be done shortly, and I'll be asking the garage (two techs) to give me a list of stuff that needs attention..
My actual plan for the car is to essentially keep it...
Yeah - just then there is always the risk you want to change the poundage of the springs etc too..
I'll be trying to stick to a plan as I know that the second you start chasing power and or seconds round a track you're on a very slippery slope :-)
