HI thanks for your reply Circlip was out 1st off. See the pic below, its called the "reluctor ring" in the Haynes manual which I looked up and I'm sure most know is the ABS (maybe) But the ring sits over the outer race of the bearing so I have nothing to push against. Can I remove and...- sacamoto

Problem replacing Rear Hub Bearings
hi, just tried to replace the hub bearing on my 2001 Clio 1.2 Haynes led me to believe thati could push it out but there is a ring (which I assume is where the hand brake locks into) covering the bearing making it hard to push the whole bearing out.
