Hi. So I have my water pump undone and the pulley unbolted but how do you actually get it to fit between engine and wing to remove it? I see someone mentioned bending a piece of inner wing but I’m not sure which bit to bend? Anyone know? Cheers.

Hi. Just looking at replacing the water pump on my 172 cup. No air con. Do you definitely have to lower/raise the engine to do this job? The three bolts holding the pulley on look vaguely accessible through the wheel arch and the water pump bolts sort of the same. I can see it would be tricky...

Guys, whats the technique for actually fitting this part? I've been upside down for over an hour now with various pliers, grips,etc trying to get access to teh ball joint on the non-pedal end...has anyone managed to replace this with everything in-situ or do you have to take the pedals off or...

I'm toying with switching to a 200. Whats sort of figure do you think I'd get for my 172 Cup. All totally original/standard other than powerflow exh. , 67k miles, 3 previous owners. Very nice un mucked about with car. No rust. Any thoughts?
