PROBLEM SOLVED YEY. It turned out to be a combination of a dodgy relay and a lose conection where the relay plugged in. I only found out by accident when I left the lights on while messing with the relays. Thanks again for the help guy's. Si

Right a quick update. Iv checked all fuses and they are fine. While checking the fuses I stuck a meter on the fuse contacts for the low beam near the glove box and when I switched on the low beam the meter showed power to the fuse. So now I know its not the fuses or the stalk/switch. Are the...

I have checked and they are not loose.However I do want to buy a couple so I can rule out a dodgy relay. Just got to find out what part number they are then off to ebay.
