I run some really soft hillclimb tyres for 3 season and done Donington on full blown slicks and I've never had an issue with my EPAS it's always worked faultlessly.
If the motor is getting hot it might point to it being shagged.

HI Joe
Bit of thread resurrection, I don't suppose you send me have a copy of all the diagrams, or at the very least tell which pin out on the back of the clocks is for the Speedo input?
Cheers Rich
The two main guys that left Leda, one went to Gaz and Gaz Golds are basically Leda copies and the other guy setup Black Art Designs.
I'm sure Gaz would service a set of Leda no worries.

There are two options:
Standard Seat, Standard 3 Point Seatbelt and OEM Airbags (Wear whatever you feel comfortable in no flip flops thou)
Full FIA/MSUK Spec Cage, Full wrap around seat (e.g. Cobra Sebring or similar) 6 point harness mounted correctly to floor and cage, in date Snell rated...
With a Yaw control input you need a very expensive sensor I'd imagine and the feedback loop would have to be mega, say you got yourself in a tank slapper of slide and the constant back and fore on the wheel at speed while it pitches and rolls could do assorts of strange things lol
Maybe try and...
I had a word with Alex at AS20 and he said with the correct loom made between the DCi steering sensor and the EPAS motor control the DTA could easily control the assist on the motor you could build a completely custom map or just have a standard setup where you get more assist with more steering...
The DCi rack also has a steering angle sensor built into it, be interesting to see if an aftermarket ECU could control the assist on the motor for you.
I have a DTA S100 Pro, I'll ask Alex Chard (DTA Owner) at the Autosport Show on Friday if it can be done with a DTA?
