Did you get this sorted, because mine does the exact same thing. It seems to happen more on long journeys or when im giving it some. If i have a fiddle with the conector near the Dif it sometimes sorts it out.

I'd have a listen for any phaser pulley issues. If there is one, regardless of it having the belts done, there coming off to fix it. Generally they idle a little rough when cold so no big issues there, they can knock a bit when on full lock and some have issues with the engine mounts. All in...

Just thought i'd add that i had the same sound coming from mine, so i had the cam and aux belt fitted + the dephaser pulley changed today by ryan at northwest performance, and hey presto, engine sounds like new. He showed me video of how naffed it was, quite shocked really. Best of luck...
