The washer has pulled very tight onto the insert (as expected) but all held together with no issues!
Noise and vibration levels seem good - better than cable tied bolts anyway! Enjoying my exhaust sound again. Really...
From my experience PS3s are noticeably better on the road. Anything else is just a cost choice. Rank of my personal preference.
PS3 (XL) - Best all round tyre. Stiffer sidewalls. Good wet and dry grip.
AD08r - obviously better performance e.g. for track but not really noticeable on road Vs...
Well so far so good (10miles)!! Fantastic suggestion. M5 bolt with a penny washer. I'm not sure it actually needs the cable ties as the press fit tapers that way (i.e. with the force) so would probably stay, but not gonna risk testing it without.
Despite it looking quite obvious on that...
So I'm having a bit of a nightmare with these exhaust hangar inserts and wonder if you've got any thoughts/advice on how to fix? Or at least it might be some use for development.
I have 182 Janspeed system. One mount sits in fine (driver's side) the other (passenger side) just will not work...

I've currently got a silenced (Sports) Janspeed exhaust fitted to my 182 and was considering swapping to the straight through pipe (unsilenced/supersports).
Does anyone have direct experience of the two noise wise? Preference? Particularly thinking of level of droning on 80mph...
That looks like a Power Magic Pro. It looks at the voltage of the car battery for Sat Navs hardwired in (make shift parking mode).
Normally a cigarette lighter socket plugged into it, but I'm guessing that's missing.
