Hi all, my 2011 Clio 200 has developed a fault with the drivers side door handle locking button. It started off as an intermittent locking problem and now won't work at all. Nearside button and fob work ok. Any ideas?

Does anyone know what causes these synchro problems? They must be using some crap metal. Or maybe something drops out. There's no way they will tell me.

Garage says synchro has gone and have agreed to fit a new box. Should only take a couple of days. Thanks to all for your answers.
