Pull rubber trim off from inside car,open sunroof fully.Have a look at runners and attachment for glass to see if any allen screws have vanished.If so bend headlining down slightly around sunroof and see if anything drops out.Lining at back of sunroof is glued in place so you cant bend too far...

If clutch is standard it shouldnt be that heavy.Check how the cable is routed as it comes through the bulkhead.If its fully clipped to the subframe,undo the first to give a more gradual curve around back of engine.If no improvement,replace cable £15ish.Should solve problem?

This may solve your problem with mpg on trip computer? Run your car till trip computer goes in to dashes i.e below 37M before being empty.Fill tank and reset mileage and also note how much you have put in.Run again until dashes appear and all should solved.Work out your MPG and compare trip...
