    Drilled/Vented Discs

Drilled rotors especially are prone to fractures around where they are drilled. Slotted not as much. Cheers.

    Drilled/Vented Discs

Grooved or slotted can be of benefit if you find your brakes tend to squeal a lot. While a few good hard stops from a reasonable speed will clear this up no worries, slotted rotors help to keep the face of the pad clean and fresh thus preventing any build up on the rotors. It also helps to...

mk2 phase 2 de chav project

Quiet. We don't need that kind of rubbish here (we've got plenty enough as it is with all the JDM fully sik hektik bro boys getting around). :) Cheers.

    Reverse light on constantly!?!?!?!

On other cars I've had the switch is normally something that goes. The switch is normally reasonably cheap $20-$30AUD (and that's with our stupid omg the car came from Europe so mark it up 3000% type prices). Also assuming you can get to it and get a wrench on it it normally just screws out and...

Clio 200 Milltek Exhaust in development

Is it fully developed based on a stock car are their other modifications to be used in conjunction with it? I heard some things in relation to the Milltek on the 197 that it exacerbated the hole in the mid-range badly and it made the car for the most part worse without doing a retune? I don't...

    Do brand new Renaults (Clios).............

All Clio's currently delivered to Australia are all made in the Renault Sport factory at Dieppe in France (it helps that they only sell the Renault Sports here). In fact my 20th Edition even has a plate telling me so. :) Cheers.

Clio 200 - the lack of a jack.

Hi all, If someone has one of the jacks that fit in the boots space could you please let me know the part number off of it, so I can organise one through my sources. Dealers here in Australia want $180 AUD for one (103 GBP)! Cheers.

It's a 20th Anniversary Badge, one on each side and then a little plaque near the handbrake with the same thing and which number of the 30 that came to Australia it is. Handling wise it has it all over the Golf. The handling is almost telepathic and with the quick rack it's an absolute weapon...

They're more expensive than in the UK as I think Renault are trying to position themselves as a slightly more premium brand etc. They've priced it at the same point as a basic level Golf GTI. You can't option them up as expensive though. Basically any car from Europe is overpriced here anyway...

G'day All, Even though I've made some posts elsewhere I thought I'd come over here and introduce myself. A month ago I picked up one of the first 200 Cup 20th Anniversary Editions delivered to Australia. We're only receiving 30 of them and I got number 19. My previous ride was a MkIV Golf R32...

    200 MultiFunction Display

Ah I get you. My guess is that more than likely is that it's the G sensors and possibly the specific screen code/modules themselves that might need to be installed. I don't know how dodgy Renault is in regards to things like this, but I know of quite a few manufactures who over the years have...

    200 MultiFunction Display

Because in Australia we get royally screwed over when it comes to cars and car specifications. We have a stupid set of design rules that don't match up with the rest of the world as well so we only ever get a very limited range of the models actually available and they also impose heavy taxes on...

    200 MultiFunction Display

Hmm well I've got the updated bluetooth/mp3 head unit with USB/iPod/3.5mm jack box and steering wheel controls and programmable voice dialing etc it's standard on the two models we get here in Australia and there is no option for the MFD. Looks to me like it's just been disabled. Anyone know how...
