I've the exact same issue on 4 of my Clio's and can't for the life me figure it out. I believe it's one of the spot welds somewhere around that area and I've heard other people having similar issues it must be becoming a more common issue with age I believe. Boot grommets are sealed on all of...
Yeah, I was thinking of checking the big ends as well. Is it possible to fix the cam journals without spending loads getting it machined?
I feel like it would probably be easier getting another cylinder head due to the damage. Wasn't a track car from my knowledge I bought it 5 years ago and...
Hi all, was in the process of resealing my end cap for the crank along with a new crank seal as it's been leaking badly. I've removed the main bearing from the cap and I just want your opinions on the wear of it would I be stupid just leaving it as is and sending it or should I potentially be...
I did indeed turned out the cylinder head was the culprit the stem seals were leaking oil into the combustion chamber and the valves weren't sealing the best.
Renault discontinues the OSF wishbone but the part numbers are -
NSF - 8200257956

Yeah haven't had a chance to look at it properly yet, stripped the fuse box down to check the relays fuses and the white plug of doom all seemed in order my suspicions are possibly around the interior loom/ where it meets the engine bay as I've been thinking about and I've had some weird other...
It seems to need the heater blower, headlights (sidelights, low beam, and high beam) and front + rear fog lights for the misfire to disappear if you turn one thing off it starts doing it slightly but when they're all off it just misfires as usual.
Hello all, a bit of a long story this one, about a year ago I purchased a Clio 182 turbo with the engine dynamics low boost kit on it. The car needed a fair bit of work and wasn't exactly the best looked after however always had this weird misfire issue you could hear on idle like the exhaust...
Hi all, was looking to see if anyone could help me with a few measurements for a Clio 172 Subframe as I believe mine might be twisted/damaged. Reason being the L/H wheel is set back more than the R/H wheel by a good 10mm. I was looking to get the measurement from the outward most bolt of each...
So got the timing belt done today all sorted and the timing has been set correct! It was previously out so Instantly noticed a difference in the drive of the car and the noise of the engine. Also getting much more MPG which is a big plus so very happy overall turns out the grinding noise was...
Yeah, the whole lot is getting done, both every cambelt rollers, tensioner, seals, dephaser and the crankshaft accessories pulley. So it should hopefully solve my issue. Will I need to order a tool for fitting the camshaft seals(timing belt side)?
