There is a lovely phase one for sale on v6clio.net at the moment. It's a mars red example with only 26k on the clock. The owner was looking for £23k, but the general feeling is that he had underpriced it based on an old valuation thread.

I gave the V6 a quick wash this evening (two bucket method), followed by a towel dry and a quick detail with Autosmart Tango. I am heading out for an early Sunday drive tomorrow morning with a friend who has a very nice Civic Type R FD2.

I am lucky that I found a very good one with low miles. If that hadn't been the case then I would have been more than happy with an enthusiast-owned example with higher miles. The only thing that tends to suffer is the interior, but that could be rectified with a set of trendlines? But cheap...

Today I bought my (new to me) Clio V6 a cambelt, auxiliary belt tensioner and idler pulley, water pump and seal, coolant, air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid, rear brake pads, spark plugs, 5w/40 fully synthetic oil, aircon regas and a brand new set of Michelin Pilot tyres. All works completed...
