Just a little more on the practical side. If i could afford it then i would have kept the cup too.

It was me. Needed bigger car for baby on the way. Plus there were a few issues with the cup!!! Got the 180 zs which aint as quick but it has the boot size i require.

It's the second time it's happened to me. First time was done under warranty when car was only a year and a half old. Not sure if its the same plug or not though. How much work is it to take the head off if need be?

Just had a spark plug blow out today. Has stripped 3/4 of the thread by the looks of it. Have managed to get another plug in and tight but whats the chances of it staying there? If it does come out again, what is the best option for repair?

Personally i drilled and gromitted just below bonnet release catch. You can't get it through the normal place!

It's quite possible the red and yellow are swapped over. Test them with a multimeter and work out which is permanent and which one is switching. Then look in the stereo manual as it always gives you a diagram of the plug layout. Work out if you need to swap the wires from this.

Anyone help me out? I'm trying to replace the following ground connections. . . . . Chassis to engine and alternator to wherever it goes. I can't easily see these connections so a point in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks.

Yeah i was on my way to work. Took the roll cage and harnesses out. Have put the back seats back in. Must be a sign of getting old!

The harness had clips on. Clipped one side to the rail the normal seatbelt is attached to (lower) and got an eye bolt with nut and attached to the subframe for the seat (where the pretensioner is attached). Hope that helps.
