Ive just bought a brand new oem front shock for my car.
When it arrived the rod was all the way into the shock body as per photo.
I can pull the rod out and also push it back in and then it stays in.
I would of expected the rod to stay extended once fully extended, but I can push it back in...
Excellent work. Car coming on well. The refurbed wheels will make a big difference. Did mine last year.
Can I ask what brand Engine Mounts did you go for?

Sorry mate - just seen this!
I got the heatshield from someone on here that was selling one in the Parts for Sale section a good few months ago.
Maybe try a wanted post??
Thanks for the reply. Will check the calipers/hoses for leaks.
Do you recall if the brakes felt fine at the time? Good pedal feel?

Out walking the dog this morning and spotted a very clean looking RB 182 with grey Turinis.
Looked lovely.
Anyone from here?

Thanks for the offer, but Im in Anglesey so a bit far.

So Ive removed the engine bulkhead carpet thing and replaced with the heatshield off a 1.2.
It came without any nuts, and Ive fitted it with an M6 nut but it doesnt fully tighten and the heatshield rattles!
Ive tried an M5 nut but its too small.
Can anyone please tell me where I can get nuts...
Hi
Thanks for the update, thats good to hear that yours passed today.
Not had time to find out the brand of cat, but its a cheap one.
My cat is located in the same position as where the original one was.
If yours is directly welded to the manifold, does this mean its before both lambda...
Ahh i see. Thanks for that.
To be honest Im not sure where the cat is on mine. Only had the exhaust and cat on there a few days before going for MOT and not had a proper look underneath.
