thanks for the advice, think I'll try and get rid of all the stuff on back shelf as it does look very overloaded. My tyres say max 51psi !!!! so I'm going to try 37psi in back, 33psi front, hopefully the exhaust doesn't drop off

Only got the car a few months ago, (172) there's a cable under passenger seat, read up on this forum that it's for cd multichanger so bought unit off eBay for a few ££s, plugged it in and nothing, I've no tools to check if there's power, but just wondered what fuse I need to check??? it may be...

Tbh I'm finding my 172 a nice daily (60 miles per day) - there are various dodgy noises, and the sense of relief when I reach home or work without breaking down is great. On the motorway I just cruise at 70, no problem, 40 to the gallon, if I give it stick I'm still not convinced the engine is...
