Your not putting catches on that mint 182 are you? 😂
Go custom, have an electric latch down the edge.
You've too much space you. f**k hanging onto a bonnet for resale timeOr get a grp bonnet and do it to that? Original bonnet looks mint.
Bonnet is not mint so it doesn’t bother me.
If i ever revert back to a standard bonnet i would rather spend the money saved on f**king around with latches to get the bonnet done properly.
Could the aerocatches be body coloured, or would that look w**k?
I looked into this and very nearly did it.
But because they’re “moving” body parts / regularly used, I was worried about them chipping and looking s**t.
The silver of the key / lock will also always be silver.
Didn't know you had a 182 Cub
Think a flamer is the next clio I'd buy tbh. Such a great colourThe flamer was pretty “mint” and well
Installed bonnet catches didn’t ruin it imo.
But as others have said, they need to be well installed in the right position (to ensure they sit in the bonnet line well) and the OEM aerocatches.
Last photo shows positioning of the pins.
