Clio 172/182 3D model?! I'm BAFFLED.

Well unfortunately this has taken a turn, the guy disappeared and never finished the project.
Luckily I got my money back and still have the half baked model so its not all bad. I now need to find someone a bit more competent to finish it off.
If anyone wants the model in its current state, just send me a message and I will fire it across.

Yeah, no idea what happened. Said it was ready then marked it as done on fiverr with no files, no response and then blocked me on whatsapp!
Wow, is the 1*2 just cursed or what? Did he send over a kn5 or anything, or is it just the same fbx you sent me previously?

From what you sent me, the seats, shifter and all the custom stuff he did for your car seem pretty good and can be reused, but the actual car body left a lot to be desired. From what I can tell, he took a 5-door Clio and stitched the rear door seams up, then lengthened the front door, which is wrong, because the 5-door's front door isn't just shorter, it's also a different shape where it meets the b-pillar. The 1*2 specific components like the bumpers also seem to have been done by eye and are far from accurate. To add insult to injury the topography (the cleanliness of the triangles used in the body mesh) was pretty bad. All's not lost however, I've already started with my rendition of the model and when it's complete, I'll send it over for everyone to take a look.

Would a full body 3d model scan help?
I follow this Croatian hillclimb racer that has a ph1 172 (with 182 rear bumper).
He did a full body 3d scan of his car late last year.
Maybe this could be a good resource for the main body? A ph2 face can be transplanted?

The would definitely help! I found someone who did a 3D scan of a 182 years ago but the files on sketchfab were deleted sadly. Should I ask Marino or are you at all in contact with him?
