Thanks for that! I'm using 24mm f4 on a 5DMkII (24-105 lens). I resorted to the H2 ISO, which isn't pretty RAW.
I did some reading last night and came across the 500 rule. Hopefully I can try again tonight if we have clear skies.
I need some tips for star shots. (@Aaron.. ?). I tried a couple last night but got blurred stars on exposures longer than 1 minute as the planet is turning. I resorted to massively high ISO and f4 with a 15 second exposure. There must be a better way?
I was shooting a mountainbike competition last weekend. This was one that stood out from the other 300 standard action shots:

Nice pics. I was gutted to have missed Central Station when I was there. I can't wait to take my kids there when they are older, it's one of my favourite cities.
 You wouldn't have buyers remorse if you were to do it. If NC is important, they win most tests... I'm really happy with the audio too, but there are mixed review from audiophiles.

Try different shutter speeds for panning and see what gives you the best results/ keeper rate. Some people can go right down to 1/25 for panning and keep the car, or part of it sharp enough to get a nice picture. Wthout using a mono-pod, I normally keep it around 1/100 otherwise I can bin half...
I was lucky enough to have been travelling around this month. The first trip was to Manilla for work. I didn't take my camera as I wasn't sure whether it was that safe, or whether there would be anything to take pictures of so made do with my iPhone.
The centre of town was just busy and big...
Does your TV have HDMI-CEC? If so, does your video card support HDMI-CEC?
If not you'll be looking at some sort of USB IR blaster and a script to send a command to the TV.
Ferrari 488, stunning things.

Tough to choose... it was a toss up between an F12, 599 or the 488.

It could be a missed BIOS setting that is causing the problem:
Try using Legacy boot instead of UEFI or visa versa.
Try switching the disk mode from RAID to AHCI to IDE to see if one works.
