Yes, it does hold it back... almost like it's telling you I am not feeling like revving now! go away.
when i start it 80% on the time, it dies instantly. have to start again..
haha.. my wife drives a C2 vts, and that things hunts alots. they changed the battery, and some of the harness. but it still happens.
the clio however is different. I going to get it remapped this afternoon and check then.
I thought about that... it's got an electronic throttle. but still.
these ECU's are quite accurate .. so it should not do that. I wonder if this does have any relation to the acoustic valve which I removed from the airbox?

I have a 182, and when starting on the mornings the car idling weird.
it revs by itself. it does not do a clean idle , sounds like it wants to die, then the rpm goes up to an ddown and up and down..
anybody know what it cn be?
It is worth it, but I blew something on the radio/temp lcd display yesterday. it takes 2 filament globes at the back, I made a board with 16 smd's on, and wired it up to one of those globes power sockets. I turned it on, and saw smoke :P light just went off... display works fine, but the power...
Just done mine too... eehh fooked up some buttons on the climate control.
the two bottom right ones does not work nomore.. but im sure its just a contact problem.
this is actually more difficult that I thought... :P
I used Kingbright KA-3528 smd's, for the lcd on the console and the climate...

I had the same Q as you ... remove the ashtray, then remove your radio, behind radio is 2 torx screws, remove them, then push sideways then down on the climate control.
