Hmmm funny u mention this, mine makes some kind of funny sound on full right turn lock ONLY. Mind u i dont know if i've ever done a full left turn lock as I only ever do it when I do a u-turn, and Australia is like the UK we drive on the left side of the road, so we only ever really do a...
No 18 degrees isnt cold at all, thats what i was trying to point out that it doesnt have anything to do with the weather. Its SUMMER in Syd. Although 18 degrees is pretty cold for this time of year. It should be at least mid twenties at 7am. hehehehe
Thanks for the feedback batman.
Yeah...
Yeah i'm based in Sydney Australia, its summer and its not cold thats for sure...hehehe. It was 18 degrees this morning when I TRIED to start the car to go to work and it took me about 5 mins to get the bloody thing going. Not impressed at all with Mr Clio. I just sold a 10yr old Toyota MR2 and...
It tends to happen first thing in the morning, when I leave work of an afternoon and it has been sitting in the carpark for 8-10hrs. Even last night when I didnt use it for 2 hours.
Do you know what is involved in fixing the tdc sensor? Cost?
BTW what does tdc stand for?
Cheers

Hey there guys
I hear this is a common problem and how can it be fixed. I have a RCS 172 2002 model with only 38,000 kilometers (note i'm based in Australia). And a mate of mine has a 2006 182 Cup with only 12,000 kms with the same problem.
When the car has been sitting around for a while...
Hey there everyone
If its not to much trouble can you please post up pics of your Reno Clio Sports with what wheels you have on your car. I currently have the 15's and want to get ideas as to what will look the best.
Cheers from DownUnder
Cool I'll give that a try. It locks with the remote, its just that the spare remote that my flatmate uses to move my car around because we have a tandem double garage is faulty and sometimes doesnt work so he needs to use the key to open/lock the car.
Hi everyone
Does anyone know how you lock the boot if the remote button doesnt work on the key?
The button on my spare key (which my flatmate uses) sometimes doesnt work. So if you lock the door with the key it doesnt seem to lock the boot.
Cheers
Thanks guys.
Nah the 172 in Australia came out with 15's standard. Only the 182 got the grey 16's.
I originally wanted 17's but from reading the forum it sounds like most ppl who have had 17's have gone back to 16's so I'll get a nice set of 16's.
I'm based in Sydney.

Hi there everyone.
After tossing up between a MK4 Golf GTi and a CRS 172 I decided to get the CRS 172.
Ok here goes its a Black 2002 model with dark tinted windows, stock throughout, one owner, log books, 37,000 kilometres, 10 months left on the extended warranty.
I'll post some pics up on...
I just stumbled across these, they look HOT. DO u think 17's in a light weight wheel would be too much even if I lower it?

Hi there everyone
I just joined this forum a few days ago after picking up my 2002 Black Clio Sport 172 with only 37,000kms on Monday. The car is stock standard with really dark tinted windows.
I want to upgrade my wheels but I'm not sure if to get 16's or 17's. The car currently has the...
