Im 22 with 3 years no claims and couldnt imagine the price of insurance on a 182 - theres loads of 21 year olds with them!

So they arnt major expensive - might be worth putting abit of money aside of go for a 182.. if i can get a decent insurance quote that is. I think its safe to say I wont go for the civic - the vtec is a nice thought though.

What would a decent 182 cost? Doesnt matter if FF or cup etc. Or should I stick to a 172

yeah the st wouldnt touch it - im just trying to get as much info as possible about them. obviously the cup drives and corners faster, im just thinking about if I would prefer the luxerys. Just weighing up the options.

Considering the cup has so much stripped out, its not that much quicker - it would make sense buying a FF and putting the Turinis on.. Is there much diff to 100? Obviously the cup corners better as its wider?

lol, yes my question was answered. I didnt know how cheap CTRs go for though thats all. I really dont like the look of the PH1, and much prefer the cup look with the 16s and the blue paint to the standard 172 - even though Id like abs, air con etc. But its no big deal. Id prefer a 182 more...

oh and btw, I didnt say I want a car for straight line, just wanted the 0-60 time cleared up. I do much prefer going round corners quicker than straight line driving which Is why I prefer my old saxo to my ST lol.

Some good feedback. Perhaps its best to go for a 172 then mod it with the rest of the money to how I like it. Is there much difference between the 172 and 182? I prefer the 172 cup than standard 172.
