Fitted a new driveshaft after broke my previous shaft in half a year. A day after I fitted the new shaft it "knocks" again when I take a fast corner...
That's real :D But I have problems with my driveshafts at the moment, so I had to raise it a little... Still need to sort the problems so I can drop her again!
I've a problem with my RS 172. Last March I changed the right driveshaft and last week I recognized it's broken again :S My 172 is quite low, so I think that's the cause of this... Does anyone has experienced this before and know what to do to prevent the driveshaft to die again?
Thanks for the many reply's!
At the moment the Turini's are fitted and it's standing as low as in the picture! The picture above is how it stands on my drivaway at the moment :)
The picture with the 172's on is photoshopped, and some say that the 172 are too big, but they are shopped exactly...
Thnx all!
Just had the car for the MOT last monday, but it didn't get trough... My right driveshaft is broken again, I already replaced it last March. I think it's caused by the lowness of the Clio :( For the MOT I already put the Clio a bit higher, because they couldn't get it on the thing in...
Still doubting about placing a Milltek 182-look custom made exhaust, but I'm not sure if I should do that...
Tyres are still rubbing al little on the back, so I'm considering to place 12mm spacers or higher it al little...If I could choose I would choose neither of them, because I love...
Thanks for all the great reply's! Glad to see and read you like my RS over there!
There's only some scrubbing when I drive too fast over a speedbump. The inside of rear arches are rolled out to eliminate rubbing at the back.
It's 20mm on each side for the front, so it's 40mm wider than...
I don't have good pictures with the adjuster... only with the 195/45-16 tyres fitted. Probably I will try to lower the front a bit (5-10mm maximum) so it will look beter :)
Fitted my Turini's again, this time with 195/40-16 Dunlop SP9000's. The RS is lowered by Rokkor coilovers and the back is at the lowest what's possible. I even had to remove the adjuster to get it lower :clown:
On the front the Turini's are fitted with 20mm spacers, on the back they are 15mm.
Re: All Pearl Black's & Black Gold's Look....
Wheels are ET35 and fitted with 15mm spacers. To be honest on the back it's a little too wide. It scrubs when driving over speedbumps etc...
Re: All Pearl Black's & Black Gold's Look....
Those are already off at the back! The Superturismo's are also gone... Still need to find decent 10mm wideners, so I can take some new pics with the Turini's on :)
Toevallig dat ik jou weer tegenkom aan de andere kant van het water :clown:
Thanks for the comments! Still doubting about it... I think the Turini's will look better with some spacers and 195-40 tyres. I have placed the Superturismo's also with 15mm spacers, the Turini's are without.
What do you want to pay for it ;) Can also get them new for a good price!
Thnx!
Fitted my cup-spoiler today, very pleased with it! In the Netherlands there are also very few Clio's delivered with the Clio cupspoiler, unlike in England where he sits on many Clio's. The same applies to the Turini's, because there are very few of the original in Netherlands.
new update:
Painted my calipers:
Bought a cup-spoiler for just €75,- :)
Went to a meeting in The Netherlands:
And doubting about a new exhaust...
Or:
Does anyone has pics of a 172 with the 182-look exhaust on it??
Looks really awesome!!!:D
What size, ET are your tyres and alloys? And what exhaust do you have on it? Do you know what the size of the exhausttips is?
