If you want it done by someone decent in this country is will be pricey, as an idea I got an email this morning for a contract job doing ios and android work paying 400/day, this will obviously be the sub contract cost - the client will be paying a fair bit more than that.
Take a look on...
Looks ace rob! Love z4s so much now I've got one :D
Got mine booked in for wishbone bush replacement on sat to get the front tightened up, loving the non RFT tyres - managed to get £460 for the OEM bridge stones so nearly paid for set of faulkens
Swapped my car onto non-runflats so this nearly new set is on ebay:

I know everyone likes a moan about ripoff britain, but tbh the majority of people gain more from 'the government' than they ever contribute in tax/NI money. Think how much comes out of your wage, then think about the cost of roads, hospitals, schools etc etc.. Its actually the 'rich' that are...
Having read this over the weekend I spent a couple of mins doing the roof as well as usual windows and lights. Set off to work and I'd say at least 80% had a roof covered in snow, I genuinely think most people don't realise it can slide forwards as well as just flying off the back, told everyone...
Good point here, I must admit I only ever considered it coming off the back, not sliding down the windscreen. Suppose I've never braked hard enough in snow conditions for this to happen to me.
That said, while driving home yesterday the snow that's been on my roof since tuesday finally slid...
I recently bought my first car from a private sale. Until now I've always purchased from a dealer and part-ex'd my car at the same time. Obviously I've always taken test drives for granted as the dealer has insurance to cover it.
When I bought mine I only got driven in the car by the then...
I don't think it will work if you try doing it online. My insurance and tax both expire at the end of Dec, every year when I try and tax online it says I have no insurance. It obviously checks the to/from dates of the insurance and the start date of the tax you're applying for.
Post office ftw ;)
I use AVG and have done for years, I agree with this though.
I usually go to website, fail at finding free version, back to google "avg free", click direct link, then during install decline several attempts at making my copy a trial version, yahoo toolbars etc. Still good program IMO
When driving my 172 I've noticed that when going over bumps or uneven road the steering wheel will pull to one side or the other quite erratically. :(
I've just jacked it up and the front left wheel has some play in it when held at 3 and 9. There's no play at 12-6, nor is there any play either...
I know this is an old post but - I tried this as it seemed a very good idea, however I couldn't see any filter inside the resevoir (the hole is only wide enough for one of my fingers and I couldn't feel anything obvious) so I stuck my polyfiller-nozzel-capped hose in, turned on the engine but...
Hi guys, just a quick one to say thanks for your input! After taking your comments on board and a good look around I purchased a 52reg totally standard 172ff with 78k miles, picked it up yesterday :) The drive home put one big smile on my face.. It sounds amazing when up high in the revs - wish...
Hi guys - appreciate all the feedback.
I've definitely been looking for ones with recent belt changes as from what I gather this costs ~£500 to get done properly, although I'm hoping this will become a bit of a project to improve my general mechanic skills (currently fairly amatuer, oil...
Firstly, Hi everyone - what a great site this is! I was drawn to it while on my hunt for a RS clio and seem to have passed a fair few hours just browsing and reading :).
Having speant 4-6 weeks searching and losing ebay bids searching for my first RS clio, I was wondering if anyone had any...
