Weld to fix 16v steering column
I posted on here a couple of days ago for a pic of where the steering column needs to be welded to stop the play in the steering. I was given a link to another topic but the pics werent on there anymore. I need a pic asap as my partners clio goes in for MOT friday and this needs to be fixed...- red_n_low

Steering column Problem- Fix with a weld
My partner has a clio16v and has play in her steering. Ive heard a few people have had this problem and and have solved it by welding the steering column rather whan replacing the whole thing. Can anyone give me a link to a pic to identify what needs welding? Chris- red_n_low

Play in steering
My girlfriend has just purchased a Clio 16v. Only one problem. theres about 2-3 inches of play in the steering before the car moves. it does this whether the car is stationary or moving and also with the car off or started. any ideas?? Thanks Chris- red_n_low
