Hi all are the standard 172 wheels on a 53 plate 15inch??

so would lowering my 172 by 30mm and having 16inch wheels on it be to low and would it catch alot???

Im thinking of colouring my brake calipers and just wondered are there covers that you can buy for them or is that you can only paint them??? also would appreciate it if i could see pics of people who have done them espec if it on a silver 172. thanks
