I'm with Admiral on a 182 FF.
22 years old. Had 2 years no claims, now 3 years.
Last year was my first year they charged me £1051 - didn't mention any cup packs.
This year renewal price was £700 ish, and I've since fitted an RS192 exhaust so mentioned that I needed a new exhaust and was cheaper...
What needs to be done to get one fitted? Do they cut the CAT out, and flange the pipes so the decat can be taken in/out for MOT's? I also have a Scorpian RS192 exhaust, so will I need a Scorpian Decat? Thanks
I would bundle it, look on eBay for prices of a similar pack.. minus a few £££ (maybe 20/30-ish?) for a dodgy disc drive. Could be an easy fix for someone who knows what to do
Have a look the on the official forum for some "what will it do" threads/posts. A lot of ideas of there, especially if your good with programming and can customise linux. Looks cool!
Pretty much the same as most of the replies above, they either didn't comment or if they did it was a "Yeah it's nice.." lol - And some of my non-car-enthusiast friends just thought chav.
I did this exhaust mount mod this weekend and I am very impressed with how well it works. As mentioned above I turned the Powerflex EXH008 bushes 90 degrees so the holes provided were top and bottom. Cut 3-5mm off top and bottom to make a nice snug fit and used the top hole for the hangers. Then...
Re: which is the best deal - Apple Mac's
The MacBook Pro has the better spec and should be ok! The refurbed unit would be fine I'm sure, but it's obviously not brand new, as long as its got some warranty and your ok with it not being new then saves you some £££
I spent a few months unsure about whether to get one or not, so kept an eye out and eventually one came up on eBay that was almost too good to be true. I wanted to view it and had to wait til the weekend but the auction finished on the Friday, luckily (unbelievably) no one bid and I went up...
Re: 21.7 MPH Something wrong?
Mine also ranges from 21 to 25 for driving around town, mainly to work, but roads are busy during rush hour so stop start a lot. When I went on a longer run I did reach 30 mpg, but I thought I should be expecting more. Is there any way of knowing if the Lambda...
Just removed the Renault Sport badge from my 182 to fit the newer one, was stuck on as suggested above. Cleaned all the grime off which left a very clear Renault Sport mark on the paintwork, T-Cut removed this pretty easily!
172 Cup is a great track car, I would (and have got) a 182 FF for the extra's. I don't track it so the weight wasn't an issue I just wanted the nicer car. Climate control, better interior, and the cup packs!
