Still just turns over, I'm considering getting a ph1 loom as there's a bloke selling both the engine and dashboard looms since they're joined by that big black connector, but there again I've spent so much trying to get it running already I'm having second thoughts
Had a go at that to no avail, even tried bridging the inertia switch, swapping the fuel pump relay for a spare Volvo relay and rechecked all the wiring but still no luck
So to update, I bought another ph1 ecu with an emulator installed to completely remove the immobiliser, come to starting it and once again it just turns over. Also the fuel pump relay isn't coming on with the ignition now either, wiring in a permanent ground didn't work. Any ideas before I push...
I'll have to give them a ring at some point, but how come the immobiliser light is coming on and off as it should if it doesn't match? Or am I getting confused with something?
That's good then, only 5 minutes up the road from them! Funnily enough I was in there the other day having a chat with Paul about my ecu but this never came up. Wouldn't happen to have any idea on cost?
Right then suppose that makes sense, ph1s have a multi timer unit instead of a uch same as the scenic so that was where my thought process came from. Any places you know of that can do ecu virginising?
So to set the scene a bit, the trusty old 1.6 engine in my mum's Scenic snapped a cambelt and took all the valves with it, so using good old logic and a bit of inspiration from the Kangoo and Mk1 projects I swapped in an F4R from a ph1 172, there's only 3 other Scenics that I know of with this...
