Yeah they're not cheap, and not easy to come by or at least they weren't when I was looking for them. One of the reasons I went for the fixed buckets.

Bit of an update, not had a whole lot going on with the car minus some new tyres as I hit a pothole and got a nail in a couple tyres so my last set hasn't lasted very long at all.
I got bored of the purple so I took the engine cover off and repainted the inlet manifold and fuel rail guard...

I've had the thought recently, and think it could look quite good, depending on the shade. Gold for a williams kind of look, and bronze for something different.
Another shout for Dan, he did my belts too and a sterling job at that.
Not wanting to drive 110 miles to have a major job like this done properly is just insane, it's not even far.

I actually read all this last night and the amount of work gone into this is unreal! You don't think that much work goes into stripping a car until you see it all bit by bit.
Seal up the black grommets, that's one thing less to blame, I did mine and haven't had any problems since.
Also, aren't there drainage plugs in the wheel well?
I don't have a grey connector block on my passenger side loom, just the black and straight off to the pretensioner. Do I just disconnect the pretensioner clip and put a resistor in the end of that?
Can I join the group? Happened to me today, eventually it fired and it's been fine since. I'm hoping it last a while longer until I get some funds to sort it :(
