A general spanner check to make sure everything is tight, and use a small pry bar to check for excessive movement in the joints and bushes. If you’re swapping the rack out then id be inclined to put new inner and outer tie rods on it before fitting. Unless yours are relatively new obviously.

Lower balljoint could be a culprit for something like that. When one of mine went it started knocking and the steering was a bit erratic. Driveshafts tend to click when pulling away on full lock when they’re on their way out, and I don’t believe it would cause the steering to be like that...

You can save settings to the pump itself so you don’t need to have it hooked up permanently to work.

I’ve had my Nord since September last year and can’t fault it so far. The camera software has definitely improved since then, and you can get a version of GCam that works on it too.

I would clean up the rocker cover and try to determine where it’s leaking from, its covered quite a bit of it now. My initial thought is that it’s the dephaser solenoid seal, but a clean up first should help you track it down.
