Shame about the damage, but it looks like its only a rear quarter. You'll get a replacement for peanuts from J-spec in Scotland.
Defo stick with the 2zz idea, they are a lot of fun on road and track.
Here's mine I've had for over 5 years now.
Goes well on track too...
Some build this @scruffydubber (y) Not sure of the full spec, but it goes very well indeed. @JamesBryan mentioned its a 1.8T VAG conversion with 280hp and Gripper? What other mods? suspension etc... Even if I'd ditched the passenger and my slicks were up to temp there still would've been no...
Haha I thought I recognised the driving style 😅 Id properly ran out of tyres by then too, as you could probably tell with the sliding about. The MK4 looks a belter though you've got me looking on AT at them 🙈
Not surprised with the amount of laps you got in, fair play you were on it all day 👍
This was my NSR after trying to chase you down, I thought I was struggling for grip 😅
That's my buddy in the black MR2. It's a 2.5L N/A 2AR-FXE conversion. Heaps of torque to push him down the straights. My 2ZZ is no comparison in reality with its mere 138 ft. lbs.
Not a 1*2 but this was my MR2 last time out at CSF23 chasing down @RSRowe both lapping in the 1:20s which surprisingly is quicker than the Clio race car posted above.
Full weekend pass and afternoon track session booked. Tow bar fitted to the 330D as well, so I'll be trailering the MR2. The car is now remapped and Torsen diff re-fitted to the box, so full sends all afternoon. I'll keep my passenger seat fitted for those looking to come out for a session. I...
No point as it would have ended in fisticuffs if he give it the big un like he did out on track. Plus I didn't want banning from my local track. I was hoping karma would do its thing but there was a massive shunt on this session so I think he realized that could be me if I carry on driving like...
No passenger laps for me as I'm an absolute s**t bag of a passenger, but I'd be 100% up to drive a session in the X98 @Filters whatever the cost. Only if I pass the vetting process of course (y)
Sounds good mate, I'll look forward to it. Mine will be diffed this time around also remapped and lightened some more, it should be around 215hp p/ton vs 195hp p/ton and open diff last time out at CSF.
You need thicker spacers and I also used longer bolts too as the ones that came with it didn't fully reach the end of the mounting holes. I bet something like a deep socket would work as a spacer.
Didn't think it was you driving. Didn't see many people really mate, kept myself to myself as usual. I'm an unsociable c**t really.
Whatever it takes where you don't lose money and are covered for any mishaps. £100...£200 I'd pay it for a 8-10 lap session 100% 👌
