As I'm 12 shifts from my last night shift the wife says I need to get my car working again so I've been working through little jobs that needed doing. Most fun wasn't getting the gear lever lined up so I can get all gears. I marked it before I removed the rod but its gone back on and it's about...
£10-£11k maybe? After a quick look on autotrader they seem to be around that price for low mileage ones. Yours had exceptionally low miles and the desirable recaros that help but obviously its crying out for belts doing. I don't think rare colours make any difference on these does it?
In that case ise you options as;
1) break the silver car. Be prepared for selling to mongs if you use Facebook or eBay.
2) build the bkue car and sell it for lots of profit. Plenty of people will let you take them dry so they can say they've paid the RB tax.
Rebuild the RB. It would be worth more as a road car but if you were after a track car anyway then you've got a perfect opportunity to build one now. There's still plenty of the silver shocker that you can sell on to pay for track car parts 👍.
I spotted one of these pace car reps the other day.
About 15 years ago there was an old guy who attended all the local meets in one. I've always loved the C3 stingray shape😍.
The vanilla megane is a rare sight on our roads. This is aimed squarely at the cashcow c***s. Unfortunately I don't mind the looks of it 😂. I'll hold off for the Alpine 5 though.
I gave the starter a good clean and regrease tested it agian and it seemed to spin faster so with the new one one its way back I figured I'd refit the old one and see what happened. Getting the fucker in was a lot easier than getting it out, it's a job I'd definatly recommend paying someone to...
No and no. I don't have the reserves of nuts and bolts you do and didn't buy a starter that should fit to be pissing about with nuts and bolts.
In other news my starter seems to spin freely on the bench.

Old one seems a bit slower maybe? I remembered seeing a post on here about...
After testing power and earth's to the starter and running a wire from the solenoid to the battery all I got was a lazy few truns form the starter. Tried it with the battery from the 1.2 and still dead. So I ordered a new starter. After reading every post on the forum about replacing the starter...
Mine could do with that sort of attention! Unfortunately I think it's cold welded to the axle stands now and only gets sworn at by a ham fisted oaf occasionally (me😂).
A silenced pms shifter clearly shows Alex's genius with these cars!
Want to come give me a hand? 😂 I've had the bugger undone when I swapped the gearbox but I'll be buggered if I'm taking all the engine mount etc out just for 2 sodding bolts I can see but can't turn.
