Went out today spotting some places for when we get clear skies. All on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales.

A hidden gem of a beach lies just to the left of these rocks.

I bought some wireless headphones earlier and as soon as I set it up my network went down. Upon reading some reviews I thought it could be down to using the same frequency so I turned them off to find I was still unable to get online.
Bloody technology.
No. Unless you are only going to use it for landscapes then get the kit lens that comes with the camera. It will be more than good enough for a walk around lens and for you to start with.
Wide angle. Cheap is a Sigma 10-20 for a crop body. Can get them for under £300. Wide enough with out the...
Lol. Obviously I was too excited about a load of games to read the OP properly.
Out of those games I listed, probably Uncharted as they have probably been the best games on the PS, well, apart from 3 which was a little bit s**t in parts. I'm hoping this is amazing though.
Using a 35/50 mm prime will make you a better photographer imo. You will have to learn better composition rather than just zooming.
It's a good walk about lens (the 35mm will be a bit better on crop (like the cameras you are looking at) but both would be a very welcome addition to a camera bag...
I've just had to have a look at my trophy collection on the PS to see what games I've played this year as none are that memorable.
Best: Probably Batman but the Riddler fucked me off having to find his 250 odd trophies to be able to finish the game properly, which I didn't bother with. Other...
Is it full frame?
You want something fairly wide for New York, if it's FF then something like a 24-70/ 24/-105 if they do it?
There was a 15-85 for Canon, maybe Nikon have an equivalent?
Ended up getting rid of my old crop body and a couple of lenses. Walked out of the shop with a new Samyang 14mm 2.8. Full manual but there is very little distortion which is good considering the ultra wide angle.
Can you? I'm not that clued up tbh.
I remember trying to do something like that with an old photoshop but had to change registry info and a few other settings and it never actually worked for me after following instructions.
I just youtube'd it a while back and tried the first number which worked. It could have changed now there's CC?
I now pay for Lightroom and Photoshop on the monthly plan £8pm.
Just spec'd it with 16gb and an i7 and it upped the price to 1409.
Might wait until after Xmas to see if there are any deals on. Not desperate for one before Xmas, just that my 3 year old i5 8gb Dell is over constantly after updating to Windows 10. It's f**king useless.
Bit of a bump on this.
I'm considering a Pro 13", 128gb ssd, 8gb ram.
After reading this thread, it seems you can't expand the memory? On the site with the tech specs, it says configurable to 16gb?
Is this if you get a custom spec one or am I missing something?
I have it on my tablet which hasn't been turned on for months.
It's alright but very limited once you grow your city. Takes a lot of time to get the next building, lots of items required to expand the area etc. Basically wanting you to spend real money on it to get there quicker (like most...
You shouldn't, most of the stuff is on the right hand side of the screen and is fairly straight forward.
A few YouTube videos might give you a heads up if you get lots though.
The good thing about LR is that you don't edit the original file, that will always stay safe, you edit a digital copy.
Lightroom is the one to get.
It's also one of the only (maybe the only) Adobe programmes that doesn't dial up to check the license so a quick browse on YouTube will get the serial numbers.
I use wordpress. I bought the domain name too so it's not Name.Wordpress.com
I'm terrible with websites and wouldn't even know where to start with making my own one from scratch either so WP was the simplest solution for me.
This section has been pretty quiet tbh.
They look good. Fixing white balance shouldn't be an issue if you have lightroom or photoshop but that's not a major issue with the images tbh. They look decent enough for blogs/ product photography imo.
Same.
I bought it on a whim when it was £30 but if I'm going to pump hours into it, then I want something back sooner than 30 odd hours I think.
It's not just that though.
I find the controls really clunky. The sub menu upon sub menu on the pip boy is annoying. Maybe it's because I've not...
I'm really not feeling this game.
I've played for a few hours now. Searched every house I've come across so far. Had to store loads of s**t that I'd picked up in random lockups.
I've got the first power armour at the museum and met up with the people there. Killed a deathclaw, broke my armour...
Correct. Although a massive step up from the Nexus 5, the 6p is still miles behind the wife's Sony Z3 compact camera.
Superb phone though. I've had a few niggles with mine but they seem to have been addressed with minor app updates.
One from Liverpool last night.
I'd planned on shooting from here for a timelapse sequence which didn't turn out as planned due to my intervalometer not working!
One of the shots I was happy with though.

It's good fun tbh. I only paid £22 as I doubled up some nectar points for it.
Flying the Tie fighters are fun. I've not managed to fly the Millennium Falcon yet though. Not sure how you get it.
