Dephaser Pulley?
btw, i don't know if the dephaser has been done as i've got no paperwork to say it has been done with the cam belt as it was a cash deal- jimwright3div

Hi I've recently purchased a Renault 172 cup 53 reg and didn't notice until it was warm that it has a very noticeable ticking noise on idle which dissapears when the engine is above 2k ish rpm. I've read loads of posts and have come to the conclusion that its probably the dephaser pulley that...- jimwright3div
