More seriously, uprated dampers are normally a big improvement, the standard stuff is more about cost effectiveness than quality.
I had koni active dampers on a mini, and they were much, much better in terms of compliance than any coilover I’ve used.
Perfect? It’s got the steering wheel position of an original mini. A zonda, f50, T50, f1, lfa etc etc sound infinitely better. And they look like a kit car up close.
Phenomenal things, but perfect? Still, at least it’s not a v6.
