Cheers for all the info! Is there a manual intermittent mode on the wipers? This is the big thing that winds me up with the 406 - no manual intermittent, so you have to have them either on Auto (which ends in hyperactive wipers) or just on the slower of the two manual settings.- gtijon

I'm looking for a 172, having had various MK2 Golfs in the past and being completely fed up with my Pug 406. Are there any major problems with them? And how do the auto wipers work in the Ph2 172s?
