took it back to the garage today, it looks like the ball joint and arm needs replacing, been quoted £80 all in, so once its done on sunday I'm hoping its problem solved so i can start to enjoy the car! cheers for the replies!

thanks for the reply, yes its definitely not torque steer! this car is swinging out sharply at low and high speeds! I'm based in manchester so any specialist contacts u have would be a great help, the tyre i replaced does match the others (pirelli).
