Preston is a place that you pass on the way to other places, unless you live here! I can't make Sunday which is a shame as it's so close. I won't be in Preston though! Going to Pontefract to see the family.
Hi, I am in Preston and skulk around the forums regularly. Toddler duties, marking and lesson prep keep me in most nights so I won't be active for a while yet. But I am here and wish you all well. If I can join in with anything I will. If you see me in my 05 BG 182 with bad gangsta tints (on...
I hope that by the time I've gone through the whole car, engine mounts, suspension, exhaust, belts etc, it will have gone. If not I may take my dad's advice. Stop revving the arse off it.
Will head further north in the future. We went to a wedding in Cardiff a few years ago and the family drive back in a convoy through Wales. Thankfully the family have right feet made of lead. I had a company focus tdci at the time, lots of fun when someone else pays for the tyres, brakes, new...
Had my bg 182 for 5 weeks now and only really gone quick on dual carriageways motorways. Tried some country lanes around Longridge out towards Lancaster. Car feels great and is fab around tight little corners, then the acceleration in 2nd and 3rd feels awesome, although scary when on cam and a...
Same here, got mine 2 weeks ago and I will be 39 next week. The only modification on it is a shiny new Britax child seat. Looks out of place in the nursery car park among the people carriers and run of the mill hatchbacks, but hey you only live once. Enjoy.
Had my car a couple of weeks now and I have a couple of things I want to know more about.
The exhaust is a full stainless system with a cat, made by custom chrome racing. Is this any good? It is a bit noisy at low revs and when cold but is not noticeable at motorway speeds. May change this as...
Hi hope someone can shed light on this. Got an 05 plate 182, it pulls hard up to 5000, then pulls harder as it should. At around 6000 there is a noise that I can only describe as manic morse code, bip bip bip! Car still pulls all the way to the green change gear light by which point the bip bip...
Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Not lived there in years though. When the thrill of flooring it wears off will this thing return decent mpg? I can't spend forty quid a day on fuel! Will the thrill of flooring it wear off?
Wow what a car, feels like a rocket on rails. I had a 172 years ago but family and petrol prices took over. Drove an aygo for last two years, cheap to run but no fun at all. Getting into the 182 after handing over the aygo keys was so much better than I expected. It felt quick to me up to 5000...
