Totally agree with that, especially the last sentence. I never bother getting insurance but that's my choice. It's a choice that I generally feel that I don't need. Unfortunately Phil, I think the key word that maybe somebody has picked up on, if MSV's is the same is "unlikely".

Trackdays are there to push you and your car. The thought of this becoming the norm puts me right off. Whilst I take other drivers into consideration, I want to be on or near the limit most of the time. If I feel that I can't do that for the fear of being sued, then I can't see the point of...

PCD 1143? The spigot rings are to reduce your centre bore. From a bigger size down to 60.1 if required. If the centre bore is smaller than 60.1 then they will need machining larger. The PCD on a 172 is 4 x 100, the ET is just about ok but I think a PCD of 114 is from something like a Honda iirc...

Had mine done a few weeks ago by the AA, the guy said they don't guarantee an MOT pass and to be honest, it's now more of a distraction than it was before. Will probably have to get a new screen as the resin blob is almost hypnotising.

Just road use : normal 172 Road and a bit of track : either, with perhaps a slight lean towards Cup. Depends how many track days really. Track only : Cup But in reality, either are fine for both road and track use. My normal 172's done loads of track days and will be raced properly next year.

Cheapest you can get are all you need for the rears.

Loads of us track them with very few problems in this colder climate. How did your mate's blow up?

So 6 x 9 s are no different to any other big speaker. I had some £40 Fusions on my rear shelf, couldn't care what anyone else thought. They did exactly what I wanted and added some punch to my sound, whilst still leaving a useable boot.
