My dad has a 1.8 mx5 and it isnt anywhere near as quick as my 172, but they do handle amazingly well with little if any bodyroll and alot of grip. According to most mags its one of the best sports cars about. I would still have an elise though for the money ;)
Well countless mags cant be wrong. The clio is the better car. More fun to drive, faster and cheaper. If you want to go for a overweight, underpowered and more expensive fiesta then thats your choice. But dont come onto a clio site and start saying that the fiesta is a better car than the 182...
Yeah and they know what they are talking about unlike some! ;) They have driven hundreds of cars and can compare them in terms of handling!
And I have yet to read a mag that says the s3 is more fun to drive than the 172/182. Not with all that weight!
In terms of indicators are the phillips or the osrams better? It says that the phillips wont melt any of the light unit.

Thanks guys my 195 contis are lacking a bit of grip so i might put them on the back of my car and get some 205's for the front. Thinking about lowering it 40mm as well on apex's. That shouldnt affect the castor angle of the cup suspension setup should it?
Cheers

Has anyone got these -40mm springs on a 172 cup for me to look at? The 172 looks alot higher at the front than the back, and the turinis seem to make the gap look bigger than the 182. See what I mean?
One question..... With the steering wheel sanded, primed and painted what happens with the airbag when you have a crash? Will it blow your hands off?
