Basically, the stock hoses don't fit... which is why the Pipercross was popular. BMC is a better product otherwise - in my humble opinion.

If you've bought a BMC - good buy btw - check out ColinG's fitting guide with silicone hoses on the V6 website... proper job! : )

I know that car. Lives out in the sticks in carmarthenshire. My mate Paul "pdV6" who also has a Mk II illiad Vee was supposed to be at that event.

Chris-172 that is. Mine's down in South Wales. Incidently, my acid Vee was that Safety Car but I don't bother with the sunstrip or the decals these days. I like to keep a low profile... ;)

The strip visually lowers the high roof line. It was used by Renault on their clio cup Acid Safety car too - so perhaps Chris' has some authenticity? :cool:

That was me - I was having a service with Carlton Garages in Exmouth. These guys know their onions hence I happily travelled from west Wales. I've got the Tapias' twin: now the only "straight" full-leather Acid Yellow in the UK.
